The 20×29 framed canvas has been personally signed by Toronto Maple Leafs Centreman, John Tavares. The image has been printed on a canvas and is stretched and stapled on the back to a 3/4″ deep wooden frame. During the off-season in 2018, UFA John Tavares signed a 7 year contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs on July 1, 2018. After spending 9 years with the Islanders and drafted first overall by the Islanders in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, Tavares began the new chapter of his career, playing for his favourite childhood team. His ability to play in all areas on the ice has led to his dominance and caught the eye of the Toronto Maple Leafs organization. On October 3, 2018, Tavares would make his regular season Maple Leafs debut getting a warm welcome from the Toronto fans at Scotiabank Arena. With the game tied at 1 going into the second, Tavares would score his first in the blue and white jersey, by cutting across the slot and shooting a nice wrist shot right above the right shoulder of Carey Price. Since then, the Leafs centermen has been a fantastic addition to the team, averaging almost a point every game.
